- I have an ethernet card with TCP/IP connection at work that I would like to
- set up as a SLIP server to use from home. I have two 19.2 kbps modems that
- hopefully will make this happen at acceptable speeds. Does anyone know of
- software (shareware or otherwise) that makes this possible? I assume I can
- use the SLIP option of trumpet winsock to connect my computer at home once I
- have the one at work set up as server, right?

- I believe the keyword in the ini file is incorrect. It says
- nl_lock= when it should be nl_mode= (or maybe it's the other way round.

- That's not true. Martin Hall from JSB "owns" the specification, though it's
- my understanding (I've only been to one WinSockathon) that it's a
- collaborative effort among the various vendors, and Microsoft doesn't
- necessarily have a greater voice than another company.

- That *is* true.
